Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Onside’s website and services (the “Service”). By creating an account, submitting an application, joining a waitlist, or otherwise using Onside, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should review these Terms with you before you use Onside.

2. What Onside is

Onside is a college soccer recruiting platform that lets players build profiles and, when available, helps connect players with coaches, clubs, and academies. Features may launch in stages. Marketplace browse and discovery tools may be unavailable or limited until officially released.

Onside is not a college, athletic association, or scholarship provider. We do not guarantee recruitment, scholarships, roster spots, visas, or admission outcomes.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must not share your password or allow others to access your account without authorization.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or appear fraudulent, abusive, or unsafe.

4. Player profiles and content

You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, videos, bio, stats, documents, and related materials). By submitting content, you grant Onside a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as needed to operate recruiting features for authorized users.

You represent that:

• Your content is accurate and not misleading
• You have the rights to share photos, videos, and other materials you upload
• Your content does not infringe others’ rights or violate law

Profiles may be reviewed before becoming visible. Approval is at Onside’s discretion and does not create any recruiting obligation.

5. Clubs, academies, and coaches

Organizations and coaches who submit applications or waitlist requests agree that their information is accurate and that they will use Onside only for legitimate recruiting and related professional purposes. We may approve, reject, or remove organization accounts at our discretion.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, impersonating, or deceptive information
• Harass, spam, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the Service
• Use Onside to contact minors in an inappropriate or unlawful way
• Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, or reverse engineer the Service except as allowed by law
• Use Onside for any purpose other than legitimate soccer recruiting and related communications

7. Paid features

Some features (for example, highlight reel services) may require payment. Prices, availability, and fulfillment details will be shown at checkout or on the relevant product page. Except where required by law, fees are generally non-refundable once work has begun or a digital service has been provided.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Onside disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Onside and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or recruiting opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to Onside in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $100.

10. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Onside against claims arising from your content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms or modify the Service at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using Onside at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.
